Harden Technologies offers a number of different types and thicknesses of window laminates to address different security and aesthetic needs. Our strongest laminates, while chemically different, are similar in function to transparent Kevlar*.
All safety laminates are completely transparent and don’t interfere with the visual qualities of the glass. The window appears exactly the same as before it was treated. No one will ever know it is there.
Harden Technologies window coatings provide one-way protection from outside. The laminates are applied to both the inside and outside of the window sandwiching the glass. If the window is struck from outside, the glass will break but will remain in place sandwiched between the two layers of laminate which absorb the force. This maintains the covering of the window area and prevents glass shards from flying into the building or falling to the ground outside the building.

The Harden Technologies blast protection window covering has a GSA Blast rating of 3a defined as

The testing was conducted with a Category D blast load of 2500 lbs (1135 kg) of high explosives with a Harden Technologies window frame anchoring system.
The Blast-proof window solution mitigates the dangers posed by both the shockwave and flying glass.
Bulletproof
Protection
The Harden Technologies bulletproof window coating is applied to your existing windows to provide ingress protection against ballistic attacks through the glass. It meets the UL 752 ballistic standard and provides great protection against bullets at a fraction of the price of bulletproof glass.
Already used on many schools, offices and government buildings in the US, our new coating is similar to invisibly bonding transparent Kevlar to your windows
Smash-proof

The Harden Technologies smash-proof window coating is specifically designed for ingress protection making it almost impossible for intruders to penetrate the window and enter the premises.
This coating is perfect for retail stores to prevent smash and grab crimes homes, apartments, offices, warehouses, or any other building where there is a risk of intruders trying to enter through the windows. The coating works against all sorts of tools such as bats, tire irons, hammers or any other implements an intruder may use to try to break through a window.
The coated window has a Class A (Unlimited) rating in the ANSI Z79.1 specification ensuring intruders will never be able to get through your treated windows.
Storm-proof
Protection
The Harden Technologies storm-proof window coating protects your windows from damage from flying debris in storms such as tornadoes, hurricanes, typhoons, etc.
When a storm is accompanied by rain and a window is penetrated by debris, the premises may also be flooded. The Hardened Technologies storm-proof window coating prevents all of this since the coated window will never be penetrated in the first place keeping the debris and the rain out.
Graffiti-proof
Protection
The Harden Technologies graffiti-proof coating puts an invisible layer of sacrificial film between the paint and your window to protect against vandalism. Once defaced, the film is removable for easy replacement, improving turnaround time for maintenance and saving money in costly repairs.
Due to popular demand we have also developed a graffiti-proof coating that can be applied to polymer (plastic) surfaces such as PET.
We also offer a 4-ply coating where three layers can be easily peeled off one-by-one after each layers is defaced leaving the base layer to protect the surface before the product must be completely replaced.
Sun-proof
Protection
The Harden Technologies sun-proof coating allows you to enjoy natural sunlight without its damaging effects. The coating allows all visual sunlight through a window but blocks damaging UV light preventing faded furnishings, flooring and excessive UV exposure over time.
Our sun-proof window coating reduces glare and unwanted heat and is resistant to scratches and everyday wear. It is available in many shades and colors to complement the interior and exterior look of the room and building. The sun-proof coating also improves energy efficiency and raises a buildings LEED and EnergyStar rating reducing energy costs.
Window Tints
Harden offers standard tints as well as one-way mirror films, amber mirror, frosting, and various colors as well.
Window tints can be incorporated into our other products as well so we can easily provide a mirrored bullet-proof window coating for example.

The Harden Technologies decorative glass coatings are optically clear like glass and offers a scratch-resistant coating for use in high traffic areas. Visually soften an entryway, dress up a retail window display, add privacy to office work spaces and more.
We are able to print any photo or drawing in CMYK + white + gloss onto a glass laminate for visually impressive results.
